Very strong

I have a cheap gazebo and a couple of the struts have become broken due to too much opening and closing. managed to replace and cut to size with Junior hacksaw and drilled out the holes. So much better that the rest of my struts. Just now I will be back for more!

The struts are higher quality compared to the original but unfortunately the plastic bits from the original that fit on the end (and middle) are just too small to fit. So you have to cut the struts down to size, drill them and then file the ends and middle to size (and then I guess you should put some paint on the filed ends!). This is a lot of work! Certainly not "plug and play".
