Measurement Guide for Hammock or Swing Seat Canopies

Please note: All of our canopy measurements are taken with the material taut at full stretch, ideally between two people. 

Curved Canopies

 

A - Length of Main Section - Measure along the edge of the fabric (or seam if there is a valance) from corner to corner along the long side of the canopy. 

B - Width of Main Section - Measure along the edge of the fabric (or seam if there is a valance) from corner to corner along the short side of the canopy. 

 

Flat Canopies

A - Length of Main Section - Measure along the edge of the fabric (or seam if there is a valance/fringe) from corner to corner along the long side of the canopy. 
B - Width of Main Section - Measure along the edge of the fabric (or seam if there is a valance/fringe) from corner to corner along the short side of the canopy.
C - Depth of Fringe/Valance - Measure the height of the fringe/valance.

 

Gazebo Style Canopies

A - Length of Main Section - Measure along the edge of the fabric (or seam if there is a valance/fringe) from corner to corner along the long side of the canopy.
B - Width of Main Section - Measure along the edge of the fabric (or seam if there is a valance/fringe) from corner to corner along the short side of the canopy.
C - Corner to peak - Measure from the corner to the peak along the seam.
D - Length of Apex - Measure along the edge of the fabric on the top of the apex.
